Halloween Parade

Mommy's friends the Drosnock's invited us to come to their house to watch the Halloween Parade on Saturday. I go to school with Lucas and Johannes. It was a very exciting day! Here we all are waiting for the parade to start! Lucas and Johannes' Daddy went up before us with the blankets and secured the best spot on the whole block!

Here I am with my bag all ready to get some candy! Lucas is next to me, he was dressed up as a spooky skeleton pirate! Johannes was dressed like a Monster, I on the other hand didn't want any part of a costume, so I was just me.

I loved watching the Parade. The firetrucks were my favorite and every time they went passed we waved at the fireman. We even got to see a firetruck that Lucas and Johannes' grandpa designed.

When I saw Lucas and his Daddy running out to grab up the candy, I decided I would try it to. I am very good at it and got lots of goodies to share with everyone!

Then after the parade Lucas let me play with a sword that he got from one of the parade floats!

When the parade was all over, Mommy's friends invited us back to their house to play in the backyard. I had so much fun playing back there. They have a swing set that is really a pirate ship!

Is this a monster?! Oh NO!!! .... Wait, Don't be scared, it's not a real monster, it's just Johannes!

Johannes decided to change out of his costume into his very cool skeleton jacket. We looked like twins and our Mommy's had a hard time seeing who was who!

Johannes showed me his sandbox. It was lots of fun, I never played in a sandbox before!

AHOY MATEY!!! There is a telescope on top of the pirate swing set and I had so much fun looked into it!

This was such a fun day with friends!!! I was asleep in the car before Mommy even pulled away!!

My First Haircut

Mommy took me to see her friend Sarah at Sarah's new work. She told me I was going to get a haircut but I wasn't too sure. Then Sarah brought out a silly cape and a very silly booster seat. Mommy and Sarah thought I should sit on this seat wearing the cape. I said, NO! Finally they convinced me it would be ok to wear the cape as long as I was on Mommy's lap, so this is what we did.

I really didn't know what to think of all this, but my BoBo gave me comfort. Sarah tried to use the clippers and even though she said they just tickled, I did not like them one bit. She decided to use her little scissors instead.

After all was said and done, it wasn't so bad after all. This was my first haircut that MiMi didn't do on the back porch!

Precious Little Liam

At work we have decided to do a spotlight on one child each month. We asked parents to bring in pictures and a questionnaire about their child. Johannes' mom brought in all his adorable baby pictures and it almost made me cry. I met Johan in September of 2007 when he was just a little guy. I was thinking back and it was hard for me to remember my little guy. We will be celebrating Liam's 2nd birthday very soon and I cant believe it! Here are a few pictures I dug up of my little man almost 2 years ago!!!

This a picture of Liam about 1 week old sporting his EAGLES gear on a Sunday!

Look at how tiny he was!!! He even had the little straight jacket (a.k.a the wrap around snap mitten onesies)on underneath the EAGLES shirt!

Sound asleep in his bassinet! He might not even be able to sit in a bassinet now let alone lay in it! The little blue hat is the one that we were given in the hospital when he was born. It came with a cute little note from an elderly woman who had knitted it and donated it to the Newborn Unit at easton hospital.

I miss that newborn baby smell. He never wanted to be swaddles and almost always slept all spread out even his little legs!

Just thought you all would like to see my little baby as he was 2 years ago, in case you forgot like I did just how small my little tyrant was!
